Sydney Beach Events is a social community built for people who enjoy the beach, staying active, meeting new friends, and sharing good food and drinks. Our events bring together people from different backgrounds who want to enjoy the outdoors, connect with others, and create memorable experiences around Sydney’s beautiful coastline.

Our Beach Events and Social Activities

Our group regularly hosts beach volleyball, social gatherings, dinners, outdoor adventures, and music sessions. Many of our events take place at Coogee Beach where members can join a friendly game of volleyball, relax by the beach, and continue the social experience afterwards at local restaurants or bars. The goal is simple. Stay active, enjoy the beach lifestyle, and build genuine friendships.

Who Our Community Is For

Sydney Beach Events welcomes people in their 20s and 30s, although everyone with a positive attitude is welcome to join. Our community includes locals, travellers, and international members who enjoy meeting new people, sharing cultures, and expanding their social circles in Sydney.

Beach Volleyball as Our Main Activity

Beach volleyball is one of our main activities. Games are organised so that everyone who attends has a chance to play, whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced player. We often run multiple games and rotate teams so members can participate while also having time to socialise with others attending the event.

More Than Just Volleyball

Beyond volleyball, our events include dinners, BBQs, drinks, hiking, camping, kayaking, road trips, music sessions, karaoke, and social gatherings. Many members enjoy meeting new people from around the world, exchanging languages, and learning about different cultures while enjoying the relaxed beach environment.

A Respectful and Safe Community

We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive community. All members are expected to respect each other’s personal boundaries, backgrounds, and beliefs. Our events are designed to be welcoming, positive, and comfortable for everyone who attends.

Sydney Beach Events is organised and hosted by Mark, who coordinates activities, manages the community, and ensures events run smoothly. The group continues to grow with the help of regular members and organisers who contribute to the positive and friendly environment that makes each event enjoyable.

Community Supported Events

Our events are supported by community contributions and equipment used during activities such as volleyball nets, sports equipment, music systems, DJ gear, cameras, and drones used to capture photos and videos from our gatherings. Donations help maintain equipment and support future events.
