🛡️ Follow Rules:

  1. Be kind to one another.
  2. Respect each other’s boundaries, opinions, backgrounds, races, gender, beliefs, and religions.
  3. Avoid cancellations, or if you must cancel, notify the host at least 1 day prior to the event. Some of our events are ticketed.
  4. All RSVPed members must attend the event. Be sure to clear your schedule on this day.
  5. We promote a positive and fun environment, so you must remain respectful and friendly to all members in the group. We want members to feel safe and comfortable. World Peace!
  6. Do not throw rubbish. Help keep the area clean and carry your own rubbish with you when you leave.
  7. You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of others.
  8. Sydney Beach Events will not be liable for any health issues, property damage, or injuries that may happen during the event. You will be participating at your own risk.
  9. For your own safety, swimming at the beach is not part of the volleyball event. If you choose to swim, swim between the flags and with friends. Swimming alone at the beach is not recommended. If you cannot swim, do not swim. You will be swimming at your own risk.
  10. If any of our events involve swimming, you must swim with friends, family, or someone who knows you. If you cannot swim, do not swim. You will be swimming at your own risk. Kids must be supervised, wear a life jacket, and use a floating device when swimming. Do not swim in dangerous areas. Wear a life jacket, helmet, and floating device if needed and if you are not comfortable swimming.
  11. Report any suspicious activities, boundary crossing, or misbehavior. Reports will be taken into consideration, and serious offenders will be banned from the group or reported.
  12. Enjoy yourself, make friends, build lasting friendships, build trust, and always ask for consent.
  13. Help set up volleyball nets and other equipment if possible.
  14. Offer help to others if possible.
  15. Always be safe and look after the people around you.
  16. If there is an emergency, call 000.
  17. Avoid hatred, discrimination of any kind, racism, put-downs, conflicts, or fights.
  18. Act and show by good example for the benefit of the community.
